Today, when you say “God” to someone - one or more out of a plethora of thoughts, ideas, and definitions might spring into that person’s mind. So we must be clear about what we mean by the words that we say.

For example, when we as Christians speak of “God” – of whom or what do we speak? Who is this God? What is He like? How do we know about Him? How is He different from, or the same as, that other person's idea of “God”?

We must be clear in our own minds as to what we mean by God so that we are able to communicate clearly with others.
